On November 27, 2023, the Tirupur Revenue District organized the Republic Day Games (RDG) and Barathiyar Day Games (BDG) district level Judo competition. We at Literacy Mission School are proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students in various categories. In the under 19 boys' division, Sri Vishnu C. from 12 C2 secured a bronze medal in the (50kg) weight category. In the under 17 boys' division, Nishanth from 12 C2 showcased his skills and earned a bronze medal in the (55kg) weight category. Additionally, our junior boys' team displayed remarkable talent, with Vishnu Mugundhan from 8B clinching a bronze medal in the (50kg) weight category.
Furthermore, we had notable performances in the boys' division. Thirukkumaran from 8F showcased his prowess and secured a silver medal in the (50kg) weight category. Rithiswar from 8D demonstrated his skillset and claimed a silver medal in the (35kg) weight category. Nitin from 6D showcased his determination and secured a silver medal in the (30kg) weight category.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all the participants and winners and coaches of this prestigious Judo competition. The event took place at the Kangeyam Group of Institution in Nadthakadaiyur. We are immensely proud of our students accomplishments and look forward to even greater success in the future.
